Question: Are all grades housed at one campus?

Answer: No. We have recently bloomed into three campuses. Our elementary students in grades Kindergarten through 6th are in space we lease at David’s Community Bible Church. Our secondary students in grades 7th through 12th are at Free Grace Brethren in Christ Church. Our Early Education Center is hosted at Hillside Christian Fellowship in Millersburg. We are grateful for all three churches support of our mission at NDCS.

Question: Does NDCS use Common Core curriculum?

Answer: No. NDCS does not use Common Core. We offer a Biblically-integrated traditional curriculum using a variety of instructional methods seeking to meet the diverse needs of all learners.

Question: Is there more information available regarding the curriculum at NDCS?

Answer: Yes. More information and a breakdown of the curriculum used for each grade can be found on our Website under the Academics tab.

Question: Is NDCS affiliated with a particular denomination?

Answer: No. NDCS is a non-denominational, private Christian school. Our Statement of Faith can be found in its entirety on our Website – ndcslions.org.

Question: Does NDCS offer financial assistance?

Answer: Yes. Each year, scholarships and financial aid are available to those who qualify through our EITC funding programs and scholarships are also made available through the generous gifts from private partners and local churches.

Question: Does NDCS have any sports of its own?

Answer: No, we co-op with Halifax Area School District for high school and middle school sports, which include girls volleyball, girls/boys soccer, football, wrestling, girls/boys basketball, cheerleading, softball and baseball. We also offer NASP Archery which is an individual and team archery program we have participated in last the six years.

Question: Does NDCS offer busing?

Answer: Yes. There is busing available from four area districts to both of our school campuses—Halifax, Millersburg, Upper Dauphin, and Line Mountain. Additionally, Williams Valley busing is available to our Free Grace campus only.
